Second Nature can form a specialized yoga therapy group for women of all ages with multiple sclerosis in Bloomington IN - Indiana. The group is led by an experienced C-IAYT yoga therapist specializing in yoga therapy for MS and other neurological conditions, who has both a personal and clinical awareness of Multiple Sclerosis. Gentle, therapeutic yoga addresses the unique needs and abilities of those with multiple sclerosis, integrating aspects of yoga therapy which are beneficial to those with MS. Group size is restricted in order to ensure that proper attention and supervision are given to each attendee.

Specialized yoga therapy groups for MS are offered in renewable 3-month modules which include 12 classes and an extensive intake session with a C-IAYT yoga therapist. The facility must be appropriate for those with restricted mobility: Handicap accessible parking, no stairs, non-slip floors, and wheelchair accessible bathrooms.

Ability, energy level, and knowledge of yoga will vary. We ask that participants come to class with an open mind and respect for others.

While yoga therapy classes provide a supportive, group atmosphere, the primary focus of yoga therapy is one-on-one therapy in order to provide customized, long-term therapy and a means of gentle and sustainable self-care. Individual yoga therapy for MS and comprehensive therapy programs are offered in-home.
