Mentoring & Lifestyle Therapy for Women

Lifestyle Therapy and Yoga Therapy for Women | Supporting women in life and living through the practices (non-physical and physical) of yoga therapy and lifestyle therapy—emphasizing stability, self-reliance, and resilience during life-changes, health challenges, and through the various roles a woman may take up during the course of a lifetime. For women, yoga can be particularly beneficial if the focus is on grounding, self-care and inward balance, rather than the modern-day focus on hyper flexibility and over-extending oneself.

Comprehensive Therapy

Comprehensive Therapy Programs | Integrative programs incorporate Yoga Therapy, specialized bodywork, and long-term support for neurosupportive and neuropalliative therapy, cancer recovery, therapeutic rehabilitation, disability. Comprehensive, personalized therapy provides extended therapy and support through one practitioner rather than many, and may be particularly beneficial for those with lifetime conditions or requiring a long-term recovery period.

Whole Person Nutrition

Holistic Nutrition | Whole-person nutrition ranging from learning the basics of wholesome, healthful eating, to recognizing, understanding, and managing emotional eating and disordered eating. Nutritional guidance is offered as part of our supportive therapy programs—Mentoring for Women, Food for Thought Yoga Therapy™, The Nature of Yoga Therapy™ and Comprehensive Therapy Programs—recognizing the relationship between our mental and physical health, the environment, and the food we take in. Individual, in-home consultations; cooking for family health; learning about organic vs. non-organic, whole foods vs. processed; understanding simple yet important principles of nutrition, lifestyle habits, and general health. Market and grocery sessions

Traditional Thai Therapies

1.5 Hour Weekly Sessions | $165

Therapeutic Thai Bodywork addresses the body as a whole rather than targeting only specific, isolated issues. Sessions may include passive range of motion, joint mobilization, neuromuscular therapy, acupressure, visceral manipulation and lymphatic drainage. Our Thai bodywork is based in the Thai medicine tradition and is focused on treatment and healing— not popularized, acrobatic techniques.  We specialize in therapy for neurological conditions, pain management, paralysis, and injury recovery. Clients remain fully dressed during sessions, providing ease and convenience. *Sessions include traditional steamed Thai herbal compresses*

Appointments are offered at the client's location (residence, clinic) in a broad service area including Bloomington and Indianapolis. It is hoped that providing individualized therapy sessions and therapeutic programs at your location will bring some ease and convenience for those who find movement challenging, are easily tired due to illness, or require in-home therapy due to injury, disability, or other circumstances.

We recognize that COVID has created added challenges and considerations for many who are already facing health challenges and life-altering changes. For those who are immunosuppressed due to DMTs, autoimmune conditions, or cancer treatment, as well as those who are vulnerable to infection or complications, we are happy to say that our therapies have been offered in a safe, non-clinical environment—your residence—for more than twenty years. Please ask us about precautions we will take prior to arriving, as well as in your home.

  • Due to the nature of healing, supportive care and sustainable self-care, all therapies are provided for a minimum of three months. Clients may then choose ongoing therapy on a modified schedule.

  • We serve non-smoking locations. There is no travel fee within Bloomington (east of I-69).

  • Repeated cancellations and abuse of policies affect client scheduling and opportunities for others to receive care. Please consider others when cancelling or rescheduling. Repeated cancellations and rescheduling will result in termination of service.

  • Payment is expected at time of appointment. We accept cash, or pay securely online by credit card. Online payments incur a nominal processing fee.
